On Sunday afternoon 19 August recently, the 3 of us attended Pa's officemate wedding in Pedas; the town many relate to the hotspring.
We left our Seremban house in a slight drizzle, hoping it does not turn into a downpour. Our hopes were dashed, we were in one heavy downpour when we reached Pedas at about 1.00pm. We stayed in the car a while hoping for the rain to stop or at least reduce to a drizzle but God has better plans. So, we had no choice but use an umbrella each to get to the 'khemah'...even the present had to wait.
All the guests were taking shelter under the 'khemah' leaving no room for us...well we had a better option; we went straight into the house.
After some photo sessions and 'merenjis' ceremony, we headed for the food when the rain had stopped. Its the usual kenduri fare...beef curry, chicken, dalca etc.
We did not stay long for we had another wedding to attend to...also in Rembau.
So, here are snapshots at Pedas wedding...

The traditional take-away gift from the wedding
When we left Pedas, the rain has stopped. After handing the present, we headed for Bongek for the other wedding kenduri.
