Saturday, 4th August recently we went down to Simpang Empat. First of all, Wan (Pa's Ma) has been there resting at Mak Lang's place after being discharged from hospital. Then there is Bang Long Fairuz whom I haven't met (Pa & Ma too) since he came back for summer holidays.
After lunch and collecting the rambutans and rambai from Ma's kampung, we took the PLUS highway south reaching Mak Lang's place. We arrived there to the surprise of all since Pa did not inform any of them that we were coming.
Everyone were just doing their things...Wan resting in the family area, Mak Lang in their room etc. Bang Teh Zaid is also back for the weekend from boarding school. Kak Lang Diyana was also home for the weekend with her Uni friend. Only Kak Ngah and Bang Cik were away at their places of study.
Its good to see everyone, especially Wan in good shape and recovering well after being hospitalised for 5 days. We stayed until evening as travelling at night is not encouraged at my age (thats what the older folks remarked).
Anyway, here are the series of shots from that visit.

That evening we had 'cempedak' goreng for tea...Bang Long had a hand in it!
It was a tiring trip but we enjoyed it very much. We returned home using the highway again.
