Hmmm...nice series of numbers on the day of my first trip to PD. Wonder if there is any significance as far as 'feng tsui' is concerned. Well, its not for a picnic or swimming but since Pa had a wedding at Springhill, Lukut to attend, we thought its just 'natural' that we overshoot to PD. Pa went there representing the office...a girl from the local council got married.
Saturday in PD is 'pasar malam' day...so we did a pit stop there. It was still bright and early to call it pasar malam when we got there. Nevertheless, crowd was already building up since its also a weekend retreat for many locals in the central west coast.
Come share our...oops my short maiden trip (for me) to PD.

The usual activity when seated in this comfy baby car seat.
Are we there already, Pa?
Zohor prayers at PD mosque...for Pa & Ma
We stopped at The Store in PD to get away from the afternoon heat.
So does the mudskipper...wading under the shade of a tree.
The kingfisher...perched on the branch, waiting for the moment to do some fishing
Its low tide...not much activity at the jetty.
Where's everybody?
The PD public library...closed on weekends.
At the pasar malam, the king of fruits greet customers at the entrance
Pa caught Ma buying bananas...my fovourite!
Other local fruits are also in season...Mangosteen, rambutan, langsat...
The local apam balik is still selling well.
This stall should be popular on a hot day...but where are the thirsty customers?
This squirrel running for its life caught Pa's attention
The chase goes on...wonder whats the fate of the poor squirrel.
We got a nice little bench under the trees
...posing for the camera.
Enjoying the bananas Ma bought earlier.
...I just love it!
Deserted Seremban-PD highway...on our way back to our Seremban home.
That was my very first trip to PD...short and sweet. Perhaps we could do a return trip some other time...for a picnic or something. By 6pm we were already at our Seremban home with packed food bought at the pasar malam...exhausted due to the heat of the day.
Thanks Pa & Ma for the brief trip to PD.
Nan, this confirms it. Life is good in Malaysia.. yep.
